Frequently asked questions
How often you come into the office or work from home is decided between team members and their managers. These team agreements are a great way to collaborate and figure out the schedule that works the best for everyone on the team.
No, partial days can be spent in the office (e.g. coming in for a half-day working session).
According to our Employee Handbook, core working hours are between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Exceptions can be discussed with the manager and HR depending on individual needs.
At Booking.com, our offices are a special part of our DNA and we will never be a fully remote company. Face to face connection and collaboration play an important role in our culture. While Booking.com has a hybrid approach, we want to encourage you to come to the office where it works best for you and the team. Therefore we implemented team agreements to facilitate this.
An employee’s place of work will continue to be their assigned Booking.com office, unless otherwise agreed. Additionally, the employee’s main work from home location must be within a commuting distance of their assigned Booking.com office.
We are currently offering a Work from Abroad option. Our guidelines allow for 20 days per year working from their home country and any country where our employees have the right to work (e.g. EU citizens have the right to work from anywhere within the EU for these 20 days), no carry forward is possible).
